A joint program of the EVP and the IDF
The program gives volunteers the opportunity to spend unforgettable 6 days in Israel supporting front line and elite units
Our mission is to provide IDF front line units with fresh food including falafel, burgers, schnitzels and salads as part of the IDF feeding mission (we recieve all the feeding products from the IDF and working with the IDF feeding devision).
The program second mission is to train and certify volunteers as emergency feeding responders in Israel to deploy during/after crisis to serve with the IDF and Home Front Command and cook fresh meals for the civilian population of Israel during/after a national emergency
Once accepted into the program, you will receive specialized training with EVP during your volunteering time with the IDF. You will learn how to work as part of a team in the operation of a mobile kitchen and mass feeding relief in Israel. You will prepare fresh, healthy and nutritious meals that you serve to troops on IDF bases or staging areas.
Spend 6 days meeting over 1900 IDF troops on their bases and in the field. Prepare and serve them delicious, nutritious and healthy meals including burgers, BBQ, falafel and more as your way of thanking them for their service.
But more than that – you get to meet and mingle with the soldiers, hear their stories and get to know them.
This is a unique opportunity to meet the brave men and women who protect Israel and show them your appreciation for the work and sacrifices they make on a daily basis.
